International Carrot Day History

International Carrot Day seeks to raise awareness about the orange root vegetable. Carrots are a form of wild carrots native to Europe and Southwest Asia. This day aims to educate and inform people about carrots and their health benefits. Carrots are a good source of antioxidants, potassium, and vitamin K, C, and B6. This day is celebrated with carrot themed events and festivals.

International Carrot Day was established in 2003 as a promotion for carrots. It is observed annually on 4 April.
