Vegan Day History
World Vegan Day seeks to promote veganism and highlight the benefits of going vegan. This day encourages learning about the health benefits of a vegan diet as well as the positive impact it has on animals.
World Vegan Day was founded in 1994 by former Chair of the Vegan Society, Louise Wallis. Wallis established the day to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Vegan Society. World Vegan Day is observed annually on November 1st.
