National Quiet Day History
National Quiet Day is dedicated to finding silence and lowering noise level for a more relaxed life. According to national Geographic, noise pollution can cause health problems for humans and animals. Loud noises can lead to hearing loss, stress, and high blood pressure. In 2021, the UK Government reported 14,000 cases of hearing loss due to loud noise. This holiday was created by Whirlpool in 2016 and is celebrated annually on September 14th.
