Ada Lovelace Day celebrates the achievements of women in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). This day was founded by the former Executive of the Open Rights Group, Suw Charman-Anderson in 2009. The day aims to encourage more women into STEM careers and supports those already working in STEM. Ada Lovelace Day is celebrated annually on the second Tuesday of October.
