Red Nose Day History

Red Nose Day is a fundraising awareness campaign which aims to fund research to reduced infant deaths each year. According to Red Nose Day, out of the estimated 300,000 babies are born each year, 3,000 babies die suddenly and unexpectedly. Red Nose Day was funded in 1988 and has been held each year since then. Red Nose Day is held each year on the second Friday in August.
