Australia Day celebrates the Australian culture, identity, traditions, lands, democracy, and everything that positively involves the country. Australians celebrate the day off by attending events organized by the Government, the community, friends, and family. According to the Holiday’s official website, every year, over 16,000 new Australians become citizens on Australia Day. The observance occurs every year on January 26th.
