Beginning of Autumn History
The Beginning of Autumn in Australia is the time of the year where temperatures drop, crops are harvested, and days become shorter in the Southern Hemisphere. Animals also begin to prepare their nest, gather as much food as possible, and find mates before hibernating in the winter. Due to the drop in temperature during autumn, leaves on trees begin to change colour and fall to the ground. Autumn occurs once a year between summer and winter on March 1st.
