World Consumer Rights Day is an annual occasion for celebration within the international consumer movement. This observation was first proposed by Anwar Fazal working for Consumer International, on March 15th of 1983. World Consumer Rights Day has a theme every year. President John F Kennedy is credited with bringing attention to this cause.
