World Sight Day History

World Sight Day seeks to raise awareness about the vision impaired. This day aims to provide those in need with adequate resources and treatment so that they can properly see. World Sight Day was first observed by the Sight First Campaign in 2000. It is observed annually on the second Thursday of October.
