New Year’s Eve is a celebration to mark the final day before the new year begins. New Year’s Eve is celebrated differently around the world. In Spain 12 grapes are eaten at 12:00am, in New York, the Times Square Ball counts down the seconds until New Years, and in London, Big Ben strikes 12 times to symbolize the new year while fireworks go off in the background. New Year’s Eve is celebrated annually on December 31st.
