Kansas Day History
Kansas Day celebrates the statehood of Kansas. On January 29th of 1861, Kansas became the 34th state in the Union. The State has 105 Counties, it has the longest railroad bridge, the Rock Island Railroad Bridge, and it is the birthplace of the famous restaurant Pizza Hut. The Holiday occurs every year on January 29th.
