National Peanut Butter Day History
National Peanut Butter Day celebrates one of the most famous foods in the United States. According to the National Peanut Board, peanut butter exists since the Ancient Incas and the Aztecs who first transformed roasted peanuts into paste. Nevertheless, the National Peanut Board considers that the famous paste has three creators, Marcellus Gilmore Edson, Dr. John Harvey Kellogg, and Dr. Ambrose Straub. The observance is celebrated every January 24th.
