This is the altar of St. Padre Pio's church in San Giovanni Rotondo, Italy. St. Padre Pio, pray for us.

Today is the feast day of St. Padre Pio, one of the most beloved saints of the Church. He bore the stigmata, the Wounds of Christ, for 50 years, and is a model of prayer and humility. https://catholicnewsagency.com/saint/st-pio-of-pietrelcina-603…
Happy Feast Day, dear St. Padre Pio! His day began at 2:30 a.m. to begin prayer. He never took a vacation in 51 years. He never read a newspaper or listened to radio and cautioned his spiritual children of watching TV. A living example of Jesus! ~ Like a boss!
On Sept. 23, the Catholic Church remembers the Italian Franciscan priest St. Pio of Petrelcina, better known as “Padre Pio” and known for his suffering, humility and miracles. https://bit.ly/3PvqZ5g
The Feast of St. Padre Pio commemorates his life. Padre Pio (Francesco Forgione) was a priest and friar in the Capuchin order and was known for many supernatural phenomena including the scars on his hands known as stigmata.
