Yesterday I rang Workskil to attend my appointment, when they didn’t ring me. The recorded message said it’s a public holiday. I’m in NSW, they’re in Cannington, WA. Today I get a message to say that my payment (lol) will be cut off.
This is what it’s like. Every day. https://t.co/LqVPh922oV
Working at Thebby this Arvo, popped over to the oval to see all the locals enjoying themselves on this perfect public holiday... Ghost town https://t.co/IN9DRzjffm
If you're enjoying your public holiday or your penalty rates for working on it, thank your union. That's what today is all about. #auspol #LabourDay https://t.co/plj0U7HDhG

Today’s public holiday is brought to you by unions. In Tassie, the public holiday was legislated in 1944, recognising the historic union victory to win an 8 hour work day across Australia from the 1800s. Unsurprisingly, this makes it my favourite public holiday #politas https://t.co/zaleGANTVQ
Lovely public holiday monday in Adelaide. Perfect day for a picnic at your local park.
Thebby locals don't seem to have gotten the memo. https://t.co/DIGO209kgc
Starting the public holiday in the big bed. I hear it is a holiday too celebrate the 8 hour work day. That leaves 16 hours to pat me, walk me and play with me.
