⚡️UN: Six million Ukrainians have limited access to drinking water. UNICEF Ukraine said on April 18 that Russia’s war has “devastated water and electricity networks” in Ukraine, leaving an additional 4.6 million people with limited access to water.

⚡️ Russian forces heavily shell settlements in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. Russians targeted Zelenodolsk, Mar'yanske and Velyka Kostromka in the western part of the oblast, according to Valentyn Reznichenko, the governor. Some houses were ruined, but no casualties reported.

⚡️ Luhansk Oblast governor to locals: No time to think, evacuate now or stay and be killed. Serhiy Haidai, Luhansk Oblast's governor, said on April 19 that residents should leave immediately to avoid being taken captive by Russians and possibly be killed.

⚡️ Russians target residential areas around Mariupol's Azovstal plant. Instead of focusing on the plant, serving as the stronghold of the remaining Ukrainian defenders of Mariupol, Russians hit residential neighborhoods, according to Petro Andryushchenko, advisor to mayor.
