Last night I joined Coventry’s Jewish community for the first (of what we hope will be an annual) Menorah Lighting.
As Hanukkah comes to an end, may we remember and celebrate the triumph of good over evil, light over dark, and hope over despair each and every day!✨🕎 https://t.co/HZKDv3stmm

I know this month can be tough for lots of folk, so I want to send love to everyone, not just those having a good time. 💖 It's okay to not enjoy this time of year too. https://t.co/S1ZWnRjUOQ
Happy Hanukkah! Finally had a chance to light candles 😊 May we all have more positive light in our lives in 2023.

On November 29th, 2021, a group of 40 young Jews were subjected to an antisemitic attack while aboard a bus on Oxford Street.
This year, they returned to the site of the hateful incident to celebrate Hanukkah.
Light overpowers darkness. 🕎✨

The last day of Hanukkah celebrates the 8th and final day of this Jewish observance. On this day, the eighth and final candle is lit on an 8-candle holder called a menorah.
