On the 7th June of each year we remember the heroes who lost their lives back in 1919 in the fight for more Constitutional rights and freedoms. It was following their sacrifice that Malta was then granted the 1921 Constitution which gave birth to a Maltese Legislative Assembly. Show more
This morning President Myriam Spiteri Debono honoured the memory of the victims of 7 June 1919 in front of the Sette Giugno Monument in St George's Square, Valletta.
