This is an annual national holiday in remembrance of the 1919 riots during which four Maltese gave their life for their cause.

Today Malta commemorates the 1919 Sette Giugno. In 2019, the Central Bank of Malta 🏛 and Maltapost jointly issued a silver numismatic coin and a silver foil stamp replica to commemorate 100 Years from this historical event.
