In the #GospelOfTheDay we hear a promise that introduces us to the Time of #Advent: “Your Lord is coming” (Mt 24:42). This is the foundation of our hope, it is what supports us even in the most difficult moments: God is coming. Let us never forget this!
On the 1st Sunday of Advent, I prayed for you, your intentions and peace in the world at St Anthony's Tomb, and I will remember you again this afternoon during the Holy Mass I will celebrate in the Basilica. Have a great and holy Advent! Blessings from St Anthony's Basilica 🤗
Dear Lord, awaken us, that we may be ready when You come, that we may receive You with joy and serve You with pure hearts. Jesus I trust in You.
Amen🙏
*Have a fruitful season of Advent*🙌💫 https://t.co/zfU5Qtj5n2
Today marks the start of Advent. At the Church of St. Titus Brandsma, Fr. Paul and I celebrated mass. I also blessed the Advent wreath and the first candle was lit.
I wish everyone a very blessed Advent time on the road to Christmas! :D https://t.co/TnseJU2IAF
When people ask me for advice, or what I think, I have to bite my tongue not to say”Read my book Annunciation”. So I’ll say it here for advent.💕 https://t.co/FMJXojKr1x
Advent is a four-week period that marks the beginning of the Christmas season. It is a time of spiritual preparation before the celebration of the birth of Christ.
