World Music Day is a celebration of all things related to music. It originated in France, where there is an event called La Fête de la Musique (Music Festival). La Fête de la Musique takes place mostly in public outdoor spaces and it's free to everyone. Due to its popularity, other countries started celebrating music day. Over 120 countries celebrated it in 2017.
