We should have a holiday that celebrates America’s Tribal Nations, not one that celebrates the violence against them. It’s time to end Columbus Day and start recognizing #IndigenousPeoplesDay as a federal holiday.
NM replaced Columbus Day with #IndigenousPeoplesDay back in 2019.
