The first Sunday in November marks the end of Daylight Savings Time in the US. On this day, clocks are set back 1 hour, except for Hawaii and parts of Arizona which do not observe DST. For States that observe DST: sunrise will happen an hour earlier and evening dusk will occur an hour earlier. This results in more daylight time in the early morning and less daylight time in the evening. Some states like Florida have proposed to permanently be on Daylight Savings Time. In this way residents of the Sunshine State can enjoy an extra hour of sunlight in the evening - when most people are active.
